1400.10.13 Case Presentation and Discussion Congenital Hyperinsulinism

PI:

  • A 20-year-old man with seizures from the age of 6 months
  • Characteristics of seizures ranging from partial to complete tonic clonic, repeated weekly, without fever
  • For a year and two months, under the supervision of  neurologists, he used various types of anticonvulsants, and neurological examinations were performed, and the seizures continued.
  • At the age of 1/5 yr., he was hospitalized for gastroenteritis and low BS and hypoglycemia was detected; the patient was referred to an endocrinologist.
  • The patient was readmitted and the following examinations were performed:
